Tianjin Port

Our Tianjin Port, located at the western tip of the Bohai Bay, is the largest comprehensive port in Northern China and one of the busiest ports in the world. Serving as the maritime gateway to Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, it provides critical infrastructure for import and export trade, energy transport, and international logistics.

The port operates over 170 berths and handles more than 500 million tonnes of cargo annually, including containers, crude oil, chemicals, coal, automobiles, and steel. It serves as a logistics and transshipment hub for more than 180 countries and regions, with direct trade routes to major global markets. The Lingang Industrial Zone and Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone host several large-scale projects, including Sinopec’s LNG Terminal and chemical processing facilities that form an essential part of North China’s energy supply chain.

Tianjin Port has implemented extensive modernization programs, incorporating automation, digital management, and smart port systems. Its container terminals utilize automated cranes and unmanned vehicles, making it one of the most advanced ports globally in terms of technological innovation.

As a key node in the Belt and Road Initiative, Tianjin Port facilitates intermodal transport linking maritime trade with China–Europe railways and inland logistics networks. It continues to play an irreplaceable role in supporting economic growth, regional integration, and environmental sustainability in Northern China.
