Huizhou Port

Located along the eastern coastline of Guangdong Province, Huizhou Port is one of the most vital deep-water ports in South China, strategically positioned at the heart of the Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone. The port serves as a major gateway for the petrochemical and energy industries in the Pearl River Delta, handling a diverse range of cargo that includes crude oil, refined products, liquid chemicals, containers, and bulk commodities.

Huizhou Port consists of several main operational areas, including Daya Bay, Huizhou, and Xunliao, each designed with specialized facilities to meet the logistics requirements of regional industries. The Daya Bay Port Area is particularly significant, supporting the import and export of raw materials for large-scale energy and chemical projects such as CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), and Huizhou Refinery Phase II.

Over the years, Huizhou Port has developed an integrated logistics system combining port handling, storage, and transportation, supported by excellent highway and pipeline networks connecting inland industrial centers. Its deep-water berths can accommodate vessels up to 300,000 DWT, ensuring strong international connectivity. Continuous infrastructure upgrades and digitalization projects have improved operational efficiency and safety management, making Huizhou Port a leader in green, smart port development.

Looking ahead, Huizhou aims to further expand its petrochemical logistics capacity and diversify cargo operations, reinforcing its role as a key energy distribution hub in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
